Republic Bank has celebrated the success of children of staff members who completed the recent Barbados Secondary Schools' Examination (BSSEE) familiarly known as the Common Entrance Examination, presenting them with RightStart Gift Certificates to assist with their transition into secondary school.
General Manager, Retail Banking Sharon Zephirin was at the Broad Street Branch to make the presentations and offered her congratulations to the children and their proud parents. Zephirin said investing in children was always high on the agenda for Republic Bank. She said that the opportunity to encourage and motivate the children of staff members was a special moment not to be missed.
“This year we had seven students completing the Exam and we wanted to acknowledge this proud moment for them and their parents. We know how important will be for them to get off to a great start at their new schools come September, and we want to encourage them to continue to do well and to make their parents and Republic Bank proud.”
