Congratulations to Paragon Tennis Club who recaptured their glory days to be crowned champions of the keenly contested Republic Bank Inter-Club Tennis Championship when the 2015 tournament climaxed at the National Tennis Center in Wildey.

Barbados, July 1st, 2015 – Republic Bank’s decades long commitment to the Crop Over Festival moved to another level this year as the leading financial institution stepped in to “rescue the jewel” of the festival with the launch of the Republic Bank Grand Kadooment.

Republic Bank was once again pleased to support the 2015 Barbados Game Fishing Association (BGFA) International tournament which was one for youthful achievement and the record books.

Propelled by an impressive performance from captain and crew, a strong finishing Impulse excelled in windy conditions to outstrip the island’s best J/24s and record a scintillating victory in the Barbados May Regatta which concluded last weekend.

Republic Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to the development of the sport of tennis in Barbados, renewing its sponsorship of the Barbados Tennis Association’s Inter Club Tennis Championship 2015, for the sixth year running.

In 2012, Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison was designated a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Two Republic Bank buildings are located within its environs.
