Barbados, December 28th, 2017 – In a salute to service excellence Republic Bank’s Wildey Branch and Human Resources Department both demonstrated that outstanding service is no coincidence, respectively winning Branch and Unit of the Year Awards for the second year in a row at the Bank’s 2017 Staff Awards Presentation.
Republic Bank’s Managing Director’s Spirit of Republic awards were presented at the annual staff party held at the scenic Mahogany Ridge venue.
Individual awards for the most outstanding employees of the year were also presented in two categories recognizing both management and non-management level employees. In the more senior category, the winner was Sheldon Herman, Senior Database Administrator, Information Technology Department, while Kareem Manning, Analyst, Commercial Credit was the most outstanding team member.
Managing Director and CEO, Mr Anthony Clerk congratulated both the winning departments and individual employees urging them to continue to lead by example, in reflecting the Bank’s core values and raising the bar for internal and external customer service excellence.
“The staff of Republic Bank are our most significant asset and employees such as yourselves – nominated for your dedication to our core values, outstanding performance, excellent punctuality and attendance, and willingness to go beyond the call of duty in pursuit of departmental goals – are indeed worthy of the recognition and reward which you have received,” stated Clerk.
Other Spirit of Republic award nominees included: Roger Griffith, Review Clerk, Banking Operations; LaToya Crawford, Accounting Officer, Administration Department; Anthea Brathwaite, Bureau Teller, Airport Branch; Letisha Worrell, Senior Analyst, Commercial Credit; Ndomo Sobers, Network Analyst, Information Technology Department; and Dorinda Worrell, Senior Retail Relationship Officer, Loan Delivery Centre.
