Carlene Seudat

Ms. Seudat, a career banker, joined the Republic Financial Holdings group in 2020 in her current role as General Manager, Shared Service Division. With over 20 years of Risk Management and Corporate banking experience, including assignments at Scotia’s Global Risk Department in Toronto, Ms. Seudat brings a wealth of expertise to her new position.
Joy Inniss

Joy Inniss, General Manager, Finance & Administration, joined Republic Bank Limited in September 2007 as Manager, Finance Audits in the Internal Audit Department. In September 2014 she was appointed Manager, Group Finance and Planning in the Planning & Financial Control department and then unto Senior Manager, Planning and Financial Control in February 2019. Ms. Inniss is a financial professional with diversified experience in accounting and financial analysis. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds a Master of Science Degree in International Finance with Distinction from the University of the West Indies.
Sharon Zephirin

Sharon Zephirin, General Manager, Retail Banking has been with Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited for over 25 years. Mrs. Zephirin is experienced in the area of operations and retail banking, serving in progressively senior capacities over the past 10 years. Most recently, she has worked as General Manager, Operations. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, with a first class honours degree in Accounting. She also holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the Cave Hill School of Business, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus.
Sasha Shillingford

Sasha Shillingford, Corporate Secretary/General Counsel has been with Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited for the past seven years and has extensive knowledge in the area of corporate law. Prior to her current position, Ms. Shillingford worked as an Attorney-at-Law and Senior Legal Counsel in Antigua and Jamaica for 8 years. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus with a Bachelor of Laws Degree. She also holds a Certificate in Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School, and a Masters in Business Administration from the Webster University, United Kingdom.
Steven Jordan

A banking professional with close to a decade of investment, commercial and retail banking experience at the senior management level of Republic Bank Limited. Mr. Clarke, most recently served as Senior Branch Manager, Commercial and Retail Banking, prior to which he was Head of the, Investment Banking Division and also Investment Manager, Corporate and Investment Banking Division. Over the course of his career, he served as an Investment Banking Associate; Merchant Banking Analyst; and a Management Trainee (Middle Office) at ANSA Merchant Bank Limited. A Trinidad and Tobago National Open Scholarship winner (2005), he holds an MA (Cantab) in Land Economy, Management Studies from Cambridge University, Cambridge, UK.
Karen Yip Chuck

Karen Yip Chuck, Group Vice President, Republic Financial Holdings Limited and Vice President, Republic Bank Limited is a career banking professional with many years of senior management experience within the Republic Group. Appointed to the post of Chairman of the Board of Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited in November 2022, Ms. Yip Chuck has been a member of the Republic Bank Executive Management team since 2007, and has served as General Manager in a number of areas, the most recent being General Manager, Commercial and Retail Banking. She holds a BSc. (Hons) Economics from the University of the West Indies (UWI), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and an MBA from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. A Certified Internal Auditor, she is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers UK and a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program (AMP186).
Ms. Yip Chuck is the Chairperson of the Boards of Republic Bank (EC) Limited, Republic Bank (Anguilla) Limited, and Republic Bank (St. Maarten) N.V. She is a Director for Republic Bank (Grenada) Limited and currently serves as Director and Vice President of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce; and as Director and Treasurer of the International Women's Forum of Trinidad and Tobago.
Donna Every

Mrs. Donna Every, BSc. (Hons.), MBA, FCCA, joined the Board of Directors of Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited on July 1st, 2021. Mrs. Every is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, holds an MBA (Employee Relations) from the University of Leicester and is a Chartered Accountant. She is an Author, Accountant and Business Consultant with over 30 years of experience in Business and Finance.
She is the founder of Arise Consulting Inc. and DE International Inc. and has served as a facilitator for the World Bank’s Women Innovators Network of the Caribbean (WINC) and was Barbados’ Ambassador for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. Her articles have been featured in over 40 publications including Yahoo! Finance, Reuters.com, MSNBC.com, CBSNews.com and MarketWatch.com.
She is currently the President of the International Women’s Forum, Barbados Chapter.
Debbie Fraser
LLB (Hons)
Ms. Debbie A.P. Fraser, LL.B. (Hons.) joined the Board of Directors of Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited on December 15, 2017. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica where she received the Legal Education Certificate of Merit. She is the principal and founder of Fraser Law, a former partner at the largest law firm in Barbados and the former Deputy Chairman of the Financial Services Commission of Barbados.
Ms. Fraser is a trustee of the Barbados Diabetes Foundation and a member of the Sub-Committee of the Barbados Cancer Society Breast Screening Programme. She is also a former Chairman of the Copyright Tribunal of Barbados and previously lectured in various aspects of law at the University of the West Indies (Mona Campus, Jamaica) and the Mona Institute of Business.
Geoffrey Roach
Bsc. (Mgnt), CPA, MSC (Leadership)
Geoffrey Roach former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA), was appointed to the Board of Directors of Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited in December 2022. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bridgetown Cruise Terminals Inc., a role he held for thirteen years and also served on the Boards of the Tourism Development Corporation, the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. and the Barbados Tourism Product Authority.
Mr. Roach’s experience covers finance, internal audit, regulation, sales, strategic planning and general management, while having worked on a number of special projects covering areas such as business reengineering, and total quality management, among others. He also sits on the Marketing and Commercial Committee of the Barbados Museum and Historical Society. Over the years, he has been engaged on a number of tourism projects, some of the more recent being the National Cruise Development Commission, and the HR Development Team of the Tourism Task Force in response to COVID-19.
Jerry Franklin
BSc (Comp Eng.), BSc (Elec. Eng.), CEMI
Effective December 2022, Mr. Franklin joined the Board of Directors of Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited. He is a graduate of Florida Institute of Technology with Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Barbados and a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers.
He is the Managing Director/Senior Consultant of EnSmart Inc and Director of Northpoint Consulting Inc, with over 28 years’ experience. Mr. Franklin is a director of the Barbados Renewable Energy Association of which he previously held the position of President. He is an intervener in the electricity utility regulatory process and was a regular columnist for the Barbados Business Authority on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.
L. I Simone Brathwaite

Ms. L. I Simone Brathwaite, B. (Mathematics) (Hons.), FCIA, FSA, SOA joined the Board of Directors of Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited on December 17th, 2021. Ms. Brathwaite is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and also of the Society of Actuaries.
A Senior Principal with the Actuarial practice of Oliver Wyman in Barbados, she has over 18 years of life insurance consulting experience spanning valuation, solvency and pricing in the European, North American and Caribbean insurance markets.
Riah Dass-Mungal

Riah Dass-Mungal, General Manager, Corporate and Investment Banking was appointed to the Board of Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited in November 2022. She has extensive experience in the fields of financial reporting and auditing, management reporting, corporate and strategic planning, and regulatory reporting. Prior to her current position, Mrs. Dass -Mungal was the General Manager, Group Human Resources. She was also the General Manager, Internal Audit and Chief Internal Auditor for the Republic Group.
A Chartered Accountant with more than two decades of financial management experience in the private sector, Mrs. Dass-Mungal is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and has completed the Foster School of Business – Pacific Rim Banker Executive Management Program. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Accounting and a minor in Management.
Robert A. Carter
B. Math., CPA, CA
Robert Carter is Principal of Robert A. Carter Associates, a financial consulting firm. In 2010 he was appointed to the Board of Directors of Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arnott Cato Foundation.
He has extensive experience in business and finance in the Caribbean, with a career spanning over 30 years in financial management and the provision of financial and business advisory services.
He served as partner responsible for business advisory services of the Eastern Caribbean practice of Coopers and Lybrand. He has also served as the Chief Financial Officer of a number of leading companies in Barbados including Sagicor Life Insurance, and CIBC West Indies Holdings Limited which was responsible for the operations of CIBC in the Caribbean (now known as CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank).
Mr. Carter graduated from the University of Waterloo, Canada where he obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics degree and qualified as a Chartered Accountant of Ontario. He is a member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Barbados and Ontario.
