The exciting climax of the 2018 FIFA World Cup was an unforgettable occasion for finalists, fans, and also for three deserving Republic Bank credit card customers who shopped and scored with their Republic Bank Visa Platinum, Visa Gold and Visa Classic credit cards.

The Shop and Score with Republic Bank Visa Credit Card promotion ran during the World Cup from May 27th to June 30th offering three grand prizes of all-expense paid World Cup Final parties for the winners and nine friends of their choosing.

Visa Platinum customer Kailash Pardasani won a FIFA World Cup Final party at Cin Cin. Customer George Innis took the Visa Gold prize and donated his World Cup Final party at West Bar, Limegrove, to fellow Republic Bank customer and friend, Andrew Collymore. Visa Classic prize winner, Martin Taylor also made the trip to West Bar, Limegrove for the World Cup Final and party.

All three winners expressed their gratitude to Republic Bank, with Taylor noting it was his first time ever winning anything.

“As a Republic Bank customer for close to two decades this is my first time winning in a promotion and it feels great. Even my wife was very happy with the news; I’ll be taking her, the kids and a few others with me to West Bar to watch the Final,” Taylor said.

In congratulating the winners, Joy Anne Christie, Assistant Manager, Sales and Marketing in the Card Services Department said a memorable celebration to share with friends for the finals of the World Cup was a fitting reward for loyal customers who are also football fans.

“Everyone is a football fan when it comes to the World Cup, and we are very happy to make this FIFA World Cup final a memorable one for these deserving credit card customers.

Winners in the promotion were selected by random draw and the competition was open to all new and existing Republic Bank Visa Classic, Gold and Platinum cardholders who spent a minimum of $300.00, $500.00 and $1,000.00 respectively per month.
